Darla Baltazar is a singer-songwriter, producer and content creator from Manila, Philippines. She started writing and recording music from her bedroom since 2012 and has since then been making an impact in the lives of many through her soulful, uplifting and Christ-centered music and content.
She has been featured on The Gospel Coalition’s Quality Christian Music: 16 Artists to Watch in 2021 for her music that “gloriously puts the spotlight on God”. At the end of 2021, she collaborated with Sony Music Philippines’ Christian label, Waterwalk Records, on her single, “Search Me”, which merited her to be on the cover of Spotify’s New Music Friday Christian on its release day. With over 4 million streams on Spotify in less than 2 years, Darla has proven to be an artist that people from all over the world come to know and resonate with.
On March 29, 2024, Darla released her debut album, “Soul Talk” consisting of 10 self-produced tracks. Thought-provoking, Scripture-filled, and radically authentic are some of the best ways to describe the project worth 4 years of “God-inspired labor”.
She vows to continue her mission to stay grounded in the word, and share the good news of Christ to spur others to love and good deeds.
